    RE: Nolin?

Fished Friday night, All day long from 4:30 am to 8:30 pm Saturday.... Only caught small fish Friday night, all came on either White or Black single colorado blade spinner bait... No Keepers....

Saturday... Started off fishing area of small cove with the huge big rock on the north corner, on the left going in... Small fish in there, caught on jig & pig combo, and on #5 shadrap in shad color....

From there motored out and fished the area around the bend...lots of stumps in the water here, caught a lot of fish on small green crank and on # 5 shadrap...Must have caught at least 25 fish on this one 100 yard bank....All fish hit out off the bank by the stumps...Even had a double on one of my crankbaits...The fish were really aggressive...

Couldn't get a blowup on anything topwater....

Found another area down by Moutierdeer (sp) along rock wall on right side of lake...Put Moutierdeer ramp to your back ...Head straight like your going to the Dam... go around major point...then start on the right side with the boat docks.... From there to the point.... Started using a Red Shad senko, with a 1/8 oz weight.... Started catching fish and caught two keepers on this senko....

Came back and hit the two major points to the right of Moutierdeer Ramp....Had point to my back and fishing out towards deeper water and caught more fish on the senko...All fish caught on the senko came out of 12 to 25 foot of water... Both keepers were caught in at least 16 feet.......

Over all we caught 46 Bass, but only two keepers.... Should have used the senko up in Rock Creek...

    RE: Nolin?

fished there two weekends ago, had some success with a black and blue 3/4 oz jig in about 11 feet of water. Most fish were caught along rock banks on the main channel. Had a few keepers in 4 or 5 hours. Caught a nice 4 1/2 lber, about 21 inches. Fished mostly across from Nolin estates/Dug hill area. Hope this helps.

    Thanks.....

Heading to Nolin in the morning...9/21, and appreciate the information.

Hopefully I'll post a good report tomorrow evening or Friday morning.

Anyone else have any tips? Mostly interested in the depth the fish are being caught.

    Thanks,

    Tight lines and God Bless

Are you fishinig the Knights tournament out of wax? I will be there also. Hey how about some prefishing info. Some of us have to work all day today. I think the bite should be pretty good according to the weather. We have a front coming in tomorrow night and it's susposed to rain most of the day. Good luck in your tourney. I will be in the red and white 18-1/2 Skeeter.
