Booyah jigs and loosing fish?

Is anybody out there loosing alot of bass on these jigs or am I just having bad luck with them? I'm having alot of fish come unbuttoned on me and when I do land them the hook just falls out when they get in the boat. Noticed the barbs are tiny on the hooks they use. I love the looks of them, the fall, and everything else but I'm loosing too many fish. ;(

I used to use 5/8 oz version and never had a problem. I have had times where my mechanics was a little off during my hookset and it just took time for me to identify what i was doing wrong. Have you changed anything? Line? Rod? Just a thought.

haven't had any trouble with booyah. I did lose several fish on bitsy bug jigs. The hook would straighten out. I like the booyah 1/4 and 5/8

i have been using them and have had no problem but i did change line and had that experience.i changed to bass pros excel flourescent for the radcliff night tourney ended up with five that went 12 and change but should have had 6 for 18 or more,felt like a bungee cord when i set the hook when they come too the top and jumped they were gone,lost 2 that was at least five within 8 feet of the boat and probably 15 or more that were too far away to see.i have used that line before but never had that problem,same rods for 6 years.changed back to clear stren and was back in stroke.oh yeah the ones i did get in did the same thing hook was barely stuck,guess they didn't get slack on the way in.
