Laurel has some awful big smallmouth seen several over 6 this year alone and with the new size limits they are talking about who knows what may come out in about 5 years. It did hold the state record while the old record was on hold. Nearly 9 lbs and let me tell you it is a monster of a smallmouth. Hard to imagine one over 12.
Hey elnut show me how to use that float and fly And I don't care if you do snag while Gar fishing Your secret will be safe with me.LOL
Actually I think it will be caught this sat on Kentucky lake when I'm fishing with Dave Stewart in deep water or the day after when I am practising what Dave showed me. With my luck it will be sun or mon I will be by myself, fight it for 25 minutes have it get air 5 times dive to 40' many times and then come off 4" from the net. No one sees it but me.............this is my definition of a true nightmare..oh well I can buy one of those newly released gar catching videos and give it a try!!!! :-)
Hey guys hands off of that 12 lb. smallmouth i have been feeding that thing for a year now 1 jig an pig and 4 12inch worms same colors so stay away ....lol he he ps; yes dale hollow ha ha
And with the cold weather, the FNF season will begin earlier this year than the past couple. I am glad I have the last week of November to start. I usually don't start until the first week of December. I am a little worried that it may be here a bit before Thanksgiving. We will see now bring on those Alberta Clippers.
