What's up with the Seal Skin Socks? Never heard of them before today.....

BPS 100mph suits. I have not owned any even close to comparing. I fish 75-100 days per year. My favorite time to fish is in the rain and have never got wet.
Three years ago my wife asked me what we should get each other for Christmas. My immediate response was "HOW ABOUT MATCHING GORE-TEX RAINSUITS!" After she stopped laughing at me I began to give a detailed and logical explanation to my request. I am happy to say that we both are proud owners of matching Mossy-oak Cabela's goretex rainwear. We both use them while fishing and hunting together. Best $400.00 we ever spent!
Will these make my shiny 90 run 100 mph?:D
Rowdy
The Cabelas Guidewear has a Neoprene "hand boot" that fits snug to your wrist. This boot keeps water from running down your arm. You still get a little wet, but NOT as bad as you would without it.
Later,
Extra large, extra strength Hefty bag with a head hole cut in it. Ya get about 50 per box, and they last longer than Frog Toggs
My partner has the Frog Toggs and he says that they might as well be hefty's cause he gets wet every time he wears them. So I guess Hefty's are cheaper by far!!! Maybe I don't need to upgrade, I just need to raid underneath the kitchen sink LOL... :+
I have not looked at the other responses.. I will give you one word..
FROGTOGS is the only way to go. Light as a feather, wind proof, warm, breathable and easy to put on... Same thickness as newspaper and still pretty darn tough. Yes they are a bit high in price, but I will not leave my house without my TOGS.

PS got mine from Smyrna Bait and Tackle.
They have lowest prices in town.

I bought the HPR suit from BPS and love it. Works great even in downpours. My fishing partner and I were fishing a late summer T out
@ Taylorsville when we got over 2" of rain during our 4 hour tournament. At the end of the night, he was soaked and hot and I was dry and just warm. I bought the lightweight set just for that reason. I got them just a little on the large side so that during the winter I can layer up and be comfortable and during the warmer months I can just wear a t-shirt and shorts and not be miserable. The cuff on my set sits about 3" inside the arm and fits snug. It is pretty absorbent too instead of just being a velcro strap it is more like a sweatband like someone else mentioned using. I haven't been wet on the water since I bought them, not even my casting arm. One suit for any season and they work great and were affordable. Just watch the internet price on the BPS website and go to the store (if you live close enough) and they will look up the price on the internet and match it @ the customer service desk. I got my parka for $79 and my pants for $89. It was a good investment in my opinion. Good luck on whichever suit you buy. CJ.
