I bought the HPR suit from BPS and love it. Works great even in downpours. My fishing partner and I were fishing a late summer T out
@ Taylorsville when we got over 2" of rain during our 4 hour tournament. At the end of the night, he was soaked and hot and I was dry and just warm. I bought the lightweight set just for that reason. I got them just a little on the large side so that during the winter I can layer up and be comfortable and during the warmer months I can just wear a t-shirt and shorts and not be miserable. The cuff on my set sits about 3" inside the arm and fits snug. It is pretty absorbent too instead of just being a velcro strap it is more like a sweatband like someone else mentioned using. I haven't been wet on the water since I bought them, not even my casting arm. One suit for any season and they work great and were affordable. Just watch the internet price on the BPS website and go to the store (if you live close enough) and they will look up the price on the internet and match it @ the customer service desk. I got my parka for $79 and my pants for $89. It was a good investment in my opinion. Good luck on whichever suit you buy. CJ.
