HAS ANYONE FISHED TAYLORSVILLE THIS WEEK? PLANNING ON GOING SUNDAY(IF THE WEATHER PERMITS) WHATS BITING? LAKE CODITIONS? ECT?
THANKS FOR ANY INFO
Fished it for about 5 hours on Thursday. Caught about 25 fish with three or four good ones. Nothing real big though. Fished points and pockets with a carolina rigged finesse worm, and also isolated wood cover with a spinnerbait. The fish seemed to be pretty scattered and we had to cover a lot of water but all in all I was pretty happy with how we did. Considering it was Taylorsville and whenever I go there I plan on not catching much. Good luck!

THANKS DAVE ALTHOUGH IT MAY BE NEXT WEEK BEFORE I GET OUT THERE. IT LOOKS LIKE THIS STORM IS GOING TO BE WITH US UNTIL TOMORROW EVENING.
I KNOW WHAT YOU MEAN WHEN YOU SAY YOU DONT PLAN ON CATCHING MUCH, IT CAN BE A TOUGH LAKE.LAST WEEKEND WE FISHED FROM 7AM TO 2PM WITH ONLY TWO FISH NIETHER WERE KEEPERS.ILL KEEP TRYING THOUGH I KNOW THE BIG ONES ARE THERE.
Not sure how all this rain will affect the fishing, I would think the lake will be up a little from where it was on Thurs. I would probably start shallow and work out deeper. I'm sure the fish will still be on the move towards their Fall patterns.
Haven't seen the lake today but can tell you Salt River was running well out of the banks through Anderson county all day today. My guess is taylorsville will be up muddy and trashy tomarrow. At least the upper end of the lake.Good luck if you try them Sunday.
Seen It today at about 4:00 p.m., the lake is in the parking lot at the State ramp and still rising, lot of floating wood.
U fishin Monday Jon? I b workin.
Jerry
