Me and papaw were out on Rough River last fall. It was about to get dark and we were throwing buzzbaits. All of a sudden I hear a huge splash and immediately set the hook. I swear it took FOREVER to get this fish in. Papaw nets it and I sat down speechless. He also got the scale, 11.7 lbs. We put her in the livewell and head for the ramp. By the time we arrived at the ramp, my mom and granny were sitting there waiting on us. We pull up and they said let us see her, so i pull her out and hold her up. Thats when it happened, yup, she bit my thumb and I dropped her. In a beautiful display, she hopped around a bit and then back into the water she went.
Well, this didn't really happen. It was a dream I had, more of a nightmare...
