Yes I did forget about that one and probably for good reason. If it had not been for that 20 incher, I would not be hooked for life and probably about $30,000 richer for all that I have spent the last 3 years. I will say a little to add it was my first cast on Lake Cumberland EVER, my first cast with my new Quantim TI-30 and Bass Pro IM8 rod, with brand new 14lb test flourescent line, 1/8 oz Bitsy Bug Black and Blue with zoom trailer. I can still remember sitting in that back seat when Rob bent over to net and the fish jumped high enough next to the boat that Rob looked up to see it fly over his head, back to the depth then out comes the jig.

Funny how times change, I still use that spinning reel (But mostly during FNF season with 4 or 6lb test). That one spinning reel has had 1 MONSTER smallie on that got off (see above story), landed 2 smallies over 6lbs, 7 smallies over 5lbs, and several more between 3 and 5. My favorite spinning reel that I hope to use forever.
