    stoner creek frymans

Drove out this morning just to see for myself, man was the water rolling. Water was still up to the light pole, and you could see that it had been up to the front door of the bait shop. Ben had to stake the trash dumpster down to keep it from floating away. Since i did'nt have the boat with me i thought i'd leave by going past frymans and taking 460 back to Paris. turned left at the end of spearsmill Rd, im guessing this is 460, went a mile or so and ran into road closed high water sighns. It was an amazing sight to see that much water, i've never really thought about how much water can run through a small creek or river, ole mother nature really packs a punch. Well to say the least, the old creek is free of moss now. If any one lives or drives past or over the creek this coming week keep us updated on how it's looking, please. Happy huntin all

    RE: stoner creek frymans

Thanks for the report...WOW. I had been wondering, because it looks like the ole creek made it to 22.1' and that's considered "Moderate Flooding" by the NOAA gage.

30.0' Much of south and east parts of town floods.

28.0' Parts of town are cutoff. Water and Sewage services are out.

25.0' Water enters some businesses in low lying areas of Paris. Many
homes along creek flood. The city water plant shuts down.

22.0' Water enters homes along Taylor, Chambers, Stoner Avenues and Catherine Street.

20.0' Water enter yards of homes downstream of water plant. Parts of the city park flood.

18.0' Water floods roads near creek.

    flood on stoner
GOOD= Finally the duck weed will be gone and once the water levels get back down fishing should be great
BAD= Ramps will be a mess, we need to get everyone together and get the fire dept to clean the ramp off.
