Laurel Lake Bite

Fishing seems to be picking up at laurel recently. I have come up empt handed the last two tournaments. It took 9lb+ to win the holly bay tournament last thursday. DCBASSER, you all have any luck? Just last week we had 3 keepers but none this week.

Didn't get to go. Dang car engine blew up. Just talked to Evans and tommorrow is a definate go. Plan on putting 12 lb in the boat at least. LOL This marks my return after a 2 month lay off. My wife claims that if I don't fish soon she is going to either divorce me or move to another room . None the less you might say I am wound tight and ready to go. Water temp from what I hear is about 71 degrees and fishing was red hot on Sunday. You all coming out tuesday night.

No prolly not gona be there tuesday. WE planned on practice fishin on wednesday and fishin holly bay tournament on thursday. Were gettin to try out a new boat with the new humminbird gps on it. The 2000 dollar deal that shows your bait and has the 3d graph and everything.

Won't get there either. Had everything ready to go. Bearings go out on the trailer and another missed tourny. Plan on going down to Cedar Creek maybe on Thursday and see what happens. From what I hear The bite is on again.

You bet. I fished woodscreek tournament tonight by myself (partner was still sick from gettin wet last saturday) I won 2nd place and big fish.

Congrats to you Jonas. Nothing like that feeling when you money. From what I hear there are some pretty good fisherman in that tourny. How big was the big fish, I know there can be some monsters caught out of there.

The woodscreek tournament is a hard one. It takes 10-16 on average to win this year. I had a 5.98 and a 13inch ky. 7.23 i believe. I lost another good one. Its hard getting them in when you dont have somone there to net them for you! Gona practice fish laurel pretty hard this week to get ready for saturday.
