    high water river fishing?

Looks like good wind conditions. The only time I have to fish this week is in the afternoons after work. Do you think catfishing is going to be the best activity. Fish running water next to a calm pools?

That is my guess what would you fish for this week?

    RE: high water river fishing?

I'm not sure what river you are referring to, but I live very near the Green River... well below the lake.

The river is normally fairly clear, as rivers go I suppose.... it normally has a very nice green color. It looks worse than mud soup right now!!! Not to mention the drift wood picked up by the high water. The river is going to reach flood level at Paradise, and we are about 10-15 miles downstream from Paradise. I know I won't even consider the river right now.

I am hoping to fit a trip to the lake in this week.

    Tight lines and God Bless

I am sorry I meant the Ohio River. I would like to fish Harrods Creek up stream.

Don't catfish move up creeks during flood conditions
