Diver around Paducah?

Anyone know of someone that might be able to do some diving on the Tennessee river Thursday or Friday during the day or Saturday or Sunday late afternoon?

Don't know if this will help, but I know a guy named Gary, who fixes swimming pool leaks and dives... below is his number, I believe it is his cell number... He might be able to help you out with your needs... You can tell him one of his clients, Clyde Mills gave you his name and number...If possible let me know if this was what you were looking for and why you need someone to dive for you, just curious is all...

It's gone and especially with this much rain and current. It could either be in the Missisippi River or down in about a foot or two of mud. Either way---it would be tough to find what you are looking for. Sorry!!!!!

Mark, I thought that there might be a chance. Since I'll be in the area this weekend anyway figured it was worth a shot. My hope was since its in the Tennesse River with a some current most of the time that the 'mud' wouldnt be as bad and figured that the lower unit would be flat on the bottom that it wouldnt move? I know its unlikely but I really would like to have my prop back. x(

Are you talking about the guy from the Plapp's Classic who ripped off his lower unit?? Surely someone is not going diving for that. They hit something and I can't see where one could save money by getting a destroyed lower unit from the bottom of the river?

Mark, is this the boat that Eric Snow was using at the Rumble??

I would have to think, by the looks of what I saw, the lower unit casing is thrashed. The bolts were still in the engine holes with ripped metal around them. With rust, corrosion and the time and effort to get it...I would think it would cost more than the couple thousand, or even cheaper if you find a used one. Just me, but then I may be biased since we sell them:D
