RAPALA DT-6

GUYS, I HAVE BEEN HAVING A LOT OF PROBLEMS WITH THE RAPALA DT-6. IT SEEMS TAHT THE THE LIPS ON THEESE CRANK BAITS ARE KINDA THIN AND THEY KEEP BREAKING. LAST SATURDAY I BROKE ONE AT TAYLORSVILLE AND SUNDAY I BROKE TWO AT WILLISBURG.EVERY PEICE OF BRUSH OR COVER SEEMS TO TAKE ANOTHER PEICE OF THE LIP OFF.IT SEEMS TO ONLY HAPPEN WITH THE DT-6 BECAUSE I HAVE SEVERAL OTHERS IN DIFFERENT DEPTHS AND HAVE NOT HAD THIS PROBLEM, HAS ANYONE ELSE HAD THIS PROBLEM OR AM I JUST WORKING THIS LURE TOO HARD??? THEY ARE A LITTLE PRICY TO KEEP ON HAVING THIS HAPPEN.

Not had a problem with them at all. Do you slap your bait on the surface to clean the weeds and scum off of it? If so that could be a problem.
I love these DT series baits.

I AGREE THEY ARE GREAT I HAVE CAUGHT A LOT OF FISH WITH THE DT-6,10,AND THE 16. THE DT-6 IS THE ONLY ONE I HAVE HAD THIS HAPPEN WITH. I DONT SLAP AGINST THE WATER THOUGH,AFTER A WEEK OR SO OF FISHING WITH THE SAME ONE THEY SEEM TO EITHER CRACK OR PEICES BREAK OFF OF THE LIP. ILL KEEP ON USING THEM BECAUSE I HAVE HAD GOOD SUCSESS WITH THEM I MIGHT JUST QUIT THE DT-6.

they are great baits but after i broke about the tenth bill off I started thinking how many normans I could buy with 70 bucks and just stopped buying them
