College Ultimate Match Fishing
It's a definite go! Got an email today from the producer and called him for details! Can't wait to see how it goes! The L-Raisin' Anglers of The University of Louisville will be represented! :) I'll have more information once I receive the official packet.

A big thanks to all of our boaters this year who participated in our club tournaments and our fundraiser! Without your help, we wouldn't be where we are today!

Be sure to tune into the ESPN College Smash-Mouth Bass Championship coverage in which UK, EKU, Murray State, and U of L all participated in. It is scheduled to air on:

In other news, The L-Raisin' Anglers will be sending two guys to compete in the ABA National Championship - Eric Hickman and Cody Greenwell. Both are in contention for the college angler of the year title! The tournament will be held at Paris Landing State Park Oct. 4 through Oct. 6 on Kentucky Lake. Good Luck Guys!!!!

Fox College Sports is putting on their first ever National Collegiate Bass Fishing Championship Oct. 16 through Oct. 21 on Lewisville Lake in Lewisville, Texas (just outside of Dallas). Cody Greenwell and Clayton Mastin will be representing the University of Louisville and looking to win the top prize of a $12,000 scholarship. The event will be aired on FSN at a date following the tournament. If anyone wishes to help sponsor their trip to Texas, please let me know (our club is a little short on money and gas prices are of no help - this is a cheap advertisement opportunity as well!). Colleges from across the nation will be there hoping to prove themselves and claim the ever so important bragging rights and trophy. Of course, being on TV is pretty cool too!

The L-Raisin' Anglers will be more active in the ABA this year. Every member of our club will also be a member of the ABA. ABA's CAST program is the best learning tool available to college students and the boaters are the best you can find! I myself have met some really nice anglers and have learned a lot from the ones I have drawn.

Dang guys I was thinking about retiring again in a year or two and thought about going back to school for something to do....guess if I do I will just have to try to be a coach..lol.

I tried to watch it this AM, but when it got to the finals and they had EKU on film I couldn't see anything for the sun glare off of RC-5's Ronald McDonald bare feet....PUT SOME SHOES ON SON!!!!!!!!

Swindle made up a rumor that KVD was gay. So that night we met Zona and KVD and they were pretty much wearing matching cloths and after day 2 Zona was at the wiegh in and was talking to us and me and Drew were like we heard your buddy KVD was gay and we saw you to with matching attire last night and we put two and two together and we found out you and KVD were gay together. He was like NO but we got to that’s where I'm trying to go with this... So hw was looking for anything to make fun of us about. Also I wore slick leather flip flops that day and it rained in the morning and I was sliding around in them.
