Do you know who cleaned the ramp off? Any new logs in the middle of the creek? Thanks, Don

Water temp 57-59!!!! a real shocker, clarity about 1' in most places. fished from 730-1ish b/w two boats boated about 12-15 fish all b/w 12 and 16 inchers. Did manage to lose two nice ones, one 4+ right at the boat and didnt see the other one, couldnt turn her b4 she spit the hook. Caught a couple on a black spinnerbait but most fish were on black/blue jigs. Should have caught twice as many, been a month since I have been on the water seriously and its like I had forgotten when and how to set the hook, it was quite the debacle for a while. But the good news is, stoner is about to FIRE UP, I would say let the water stablize and clear just a bit and it will be on like a pot of neck bones.

thanks for the report Buzzking sounds great, I guess that wind yesterday was hard to fish through. Happy huntin
I guess the guy who runs it now cleaned it off, it was clean as a whistle down there, even the parking lot wasnt muddy like it usually is after a big storm so its good down there. As far as logs, the usual logjams have caught a little more debri but there is not aything in the middle of the creek, you can run just fine. Fishhunter, the wind wasnt too bad, the treeline and bends protect you pretty good, its the only place I will go if the wind is howling. I would rather fish in the snow rain sleet or hail versus the wind :)
hey buzzking was that you in that waco john boat i saw today? The guy i spoke with said he had been down their the day before, just wandering if that was the Buzzking. the ole creek looked pretty good and the fishin the same. caught 20/25 lost count no real size most were keepers with a few dinks. If you fish the left side of the fork(stoner) watch out just before the first left turn they is a big log in the middle looking for another prop to destroy, it did a number on mine. I was doing a fast idle up that way to the old bridge and got stoped dead in my tracks, I could still idle around but will need to put the spare on for the next trip. I 'll need to find a place that fixes them. Happy huntin
fishhunter,
Sorry to hear about the prop, but thanks for the warning!!! Up that way is usually the first place I head.
Thanks!
Saw a couple of boats headed that way sat. morn. wondering if that was anyone from the board. One boat was a white & red javelin.
The creek is settling down and should get better color to it in a couple of days. Temp. is 66, stage is 14.0' about 7" above norm.
Stoner.
nope I wasnt there today, but I saw that guy on sat. Im in a blue and silver stratos, if ya see me, give me a shout.
