A week of heaven!

See you boys later! I am out of here headed down to Kentucky and Barkley for 4 days of fishing...can it get any better?!?! Well yeah...after fishing going to hunt on my friend's 5000 acres in Cadiz, KY where we let 130's walk. Doing that for 4 more days! So just wanted to rub it in while everyone is working hard this week :P

I'll drink a few cold beverages for everyone...and post how heaven really is when I return!

Ahhh I let 150's walk on the property I hunt. Of course that's because they are too far for a shot, and I can't place a blind properly, but hey, they are still walking.
Have fun and invite a Fishin.com Editor some time, I can film you letting those 130's walk. I am good at filming 150's, so obviously I can film a 130.

I am guessing that you are talking about some type of point system. You should see the bucks that are feeding in our front yard!! They love those oak tree nuts that fall!! Turkeys are all over the place.

Someone was trespassing in our field the other day, and must have been target shooting, based upon the shooting pattern. Guess what happened when I went out and took a couple shots of my own...LMAO

Trespassers should be prosecuted!!!

I know you are fishing on a friend's land, and it is a shame there is so little public land left, but no trespassing and no hunting signs should be respected and followed.

Have fun Eric, it really sounds good. The bucks are getting mighty frisky. We seen a fairly serious fight between two decent bucks out in the field the other night. Catch a seven pounder and bust a hawg buck, keep your powder dry and good luck. :7

The only bad part about it for you is the fact that there's going to be about 1000 boats out there this week practicing for various tournaments.

I got to tell ya, I'm sick and f$%$ing tired of all these tournaments on KY Lake this year. I wish all these tourney circuits would choose some other lake to terrorize.

I like to fish tournaments. But i have to agree that there are way too many tournaments on Kentucky Lake each year, especially in the spring and fall.
