Nolin Lake conditions????

Has anyone got any kind of an update on the conditions at Nolin?

Looks like I'm finally going to make it out there Saturday, and was wondering how high the water was? Still over summer pool? Still clear?

How about fish, how deep have your bites been?

danny, according to the corps site, they had been pulling 6 inches a day till yesterday, starting yesteday they pulled 1.2 feet, lake should be at summer pool tommorow, I am heading down in the morning. My experience is pulling water is good for fishing,however I personally do not like them pulling it that hard, I am going to try deep walls near briar creek area, I believe the fish will pull out, but I have been wrong before. my experience on nolin has always been when they are pulling it this fast this time of year then you need to head up river. try the cane run area, they call it 3 fingers. a freind of mine called me tonight and said he fished from sportsman paradise to cane run and caught a buttload yesterday on top water early then went to cranks and spinners. bright colors that water has a lot of color to it. dad use to have a house in sportsmans paradise so i know it well. good luck hope this helps.
