    Stripper fishing...

I use to fish for stripper several years ago, since then, a lot has happened. Haven't found the time to get on the lake as much as I use to and I'm going to try to get back in to catching the "big ones". Little Macs and another one from rapala, can't recall the name right off, were the baits to use along with doll flies with pearl trailers. Can anyone tell me if these are still good baits? And what the right time of day or night is the best. I seem to recall winter I used the doll flies in the morning and later in the evening, but it seems the water temp was in the 50's.

    thanks in advance,

    RE: Striper fishing...

After the lake turns over (around Tgiving)) they'll be up shallow again at night. Bucktails (dollflies), Little Macs (if you can still find them), and Rapala Slivers will all catch at times.
