Ben, I think I speak for all of us here when I say thanks for the effort. We are all in agreeance that stoner creek is a real treasure here in the bluegrass and we all plan on keeping it that way. I understand your issues with the misuse of the campground and such and if a gate is necessary to keep the wrong doers out then that is what you have to do. However, I think you will find, 95% of the fishermen will leave that creek better than they find it and will honor the honor system as far as the drop box. If you choose to go to the gate and key thing, so be it, but $100 is a little steep. Considering during the winter months I may make it over there once or twice a month, it would not be smart for me to pay that. I would probably go $50 and get my moneys worth but that depends on how long the gate will be up (months) and how many times I will be able to go. Another thing you have to consider is will someone with a key bring 2 or 3 buddy boats? or forget and leave the gate open the entire day. Its a predicament indeed, I understand, and with it being your property, ultimately it is your choice. On another note, I would like to start getting a sat. or sun. tourney up over there, I know there are 5-10 people on this board very interested in it. Something small, maybe $30 a boat or somewhere around there. Alright guys, who has the scales.
P.S. Ben Im the younger guy in the black yukon and blue stratos, I was over there on friday, it always helps to put a face with a name.
