I would like to hear some good reports from the lake. My outboard pinched a ring destroyed the head and the crankshaft ate up the splines on the shaft and the lower unit gears were worn out. It must be time to get a new boat. That being said, would anyone want a 1540 procraft 1984 in excellent condition without a motor with 2 depth finders. It is a good boat for a single fisherman to get where others cannot. It is not a good boat to fish the main lake of cumberland with two guys in the boat with traffic but would be good for a small lake.
SSKY,
I hate to hear about your motor. Tell you what though, if you will deliver it, leave the depth finders, the TM and TM batteries, I guess I will let you dump it here on our farm.
Disposing of that type of material in a proper way can be expensive.
Just trying to give you a small smile.
Good luck getting either you power source replaced, or the whole boat.
BTW, the reason for my most generous offer above, we have a great lake that would be perfect for that boat without the motor.
Tight lines and God Bless
Danny
