    RE: Cumberland River Trout!!!!

Is it true that the sluice gate has finaly been turned off so the wader fishermen can now go fishing up close to the dam?

    RE: Cumberland River Trout!!!!

I've checked TVA.com and the schedule looks a lot better than it has in 6-8 weeks! If you can get down there today between 11-4 they're not running any generators. Don't know about Saturday yet, but if their new schedule is any indication to what the future holds, then Sat. Sun. and Mon. will be like old times...low water and good fishing!

    Good luck

thank you very much for your report. I had shoulder surgery and cannot move it it for a while. I may get to use it by late Feb. I have though heard very good reports of fishermen catching sizeable fish from the hatchery stream during this spawning season and i would assume the sluice gate has helped with that. I still miss the days of the waders fishing for trout
