What was the water temp?. If it's under the 55 degree mark the FnF rigs will come out next weekend.

A fun day on the creek, had around 18 or so keepers mixed in here and there. No big monsters but a nice day. All on jigs, couldn't get anything to touch cranks, spinners or jerks. Had some guy from South Carolina tag along, throwing a Black and Blue Jig. Didn't work to good so I wouldn't try it if I were you.. :7 Only three boats on the creek all day...

It's almost there. It was 55 to 56 up in the Strodes branch and clear water. And it got up to 59.5 on the main creek.
Hey Banditman
It's amazing who will pick you up on the side of the road when you got your thumb out. I had a great time Saturday, thanks for schooling me on jig color. You know me on Blk/Blu, I can be a little stuborn sometimes. But I think we found the spot for blk/blu later in the day. I am looking forward to the next rip.
Billy, I wish I had brought my FNF stuff. I think I could've taught Banditman a lesson or two or 30 or 40 LOL.

What about it GRANDPAW,wow do we fill older now or what! Fixin to take George to Cedar,he has not been in a week and I here he is getting hard to live with!HA. Let us no when those big fish start moving and we will try to head to South Carolina!
Dang, is right. Billy I think the creek is real close to being ready for the FNF. I will be back soon and you better believe I will pack my 8 1/2 footer.
GRANDPAW, you know I don't feel any younger. Fishin is picking up on Santee and fish are migrating to the shallows with a few big fish showing up. The club I belong to was having a tournament today, of course I am in Lexington becoming a GRANDPAW. It will be interesting finding out those guy's did. I plan on fishing Santee next weekend and I will let you know how things went.
Charlie
Hope all is well.
Don :-)
