Rough River

Hello Everyone, I am looking for some info. Planning on a bass fishing trip to Rough on or about the first weekend in November. I can only get away from work, family duties, etc. a few times a year, so i don't know have a clue where to begin. Can some of you experts on this lake point me in the right direction. What part of the lake ? Lures, patterns etc. If i remember correctly a few years back ( that's a stretch lol ) a friend and I had a fair amount of luck on top water poppers early in the morning, and shallow running shad imitation cranks later in the afternoon.
