Any Help Out There For Barren???????

I haven't been to Barren for a couple of months and was wondering how the bass bite is now. Any tips you can give a fellow fisherman for the upcoming weekend? Not looking for spots just general areas, depth etc. Also has anyone seen jumps of hybrids or whites in any paticular area? Looking foward to getting back down there and catching some fish. Thanks for the help in advance.

Well is everyone that tight lipped?

Is everyone that tight lipped or just don't know any answers? You know it would also be just as helpfull to hear what you did previously to not catch fish. Thanks in advance

RE: Well is everyone that tight lipped?

Fished Barren Friday and Sunday. We tried a lot of different depths and presentations with few results. I will say that the fish seemed to be moving into the creeks good on Friday and by sunday afternoon the sever front seemed to pull them back out. I would start at the mouths of the major creeks and work my way back. Stay near channels and find the bait and you should find fish.
    good luck

RE: Well is everyone that tight lipped?

Fished Barren Friday through Sunday and did OK. Caught several bass on Bandit 300 crawfish color crank casting points with flats that drop off into the river channel. Fished about half way back in the creeks. The depth was 6 to 8 ft. Also caught a few casting paralell to pebble rock banks in 6 to 8 feet. Also caught several on Rapala SR-7 in shad color same areas. Water temp varied from mid 50s to low 60s depending on what part of the lake we fished.
