I really like the H&H Carolina Special Rod (They are kind of expensive, but I wouldn't use anything else for C-rigging). It is a 7'2" rod with a sensitive tip and a srong back, it is very light as well. It is kind of like a Kiesler Helium rod. I also like to use a fast reel, helps keep the slack out and set the line easier on long casts.
