    Congrats to my Boy Hens......

Old Chunknwind to you all or NETBOY to me has taken the plunge. Yes he has finally done it. No not that plunge, he is smart enough to not get married for if he was or did get married he never could have taken the other plunge......................................

My boy Hens went to Plapps today and ordered himself a 2007 Triton with all the trimmings. It will take about 6 weeks to arrive but until then he will just have to continue to fish out of my old heap. I just wanted to be the first publicly to say congratulations and I hope you enjoy the hell out of her.

Now for what the man at Bass Pro told me the very day I picked up my boat....."One of the 2 happiest days in a man's life, the day you buy your boat and the day you sell your boat for the time in the middle is just time spent sinking money into a BLACK HOLE!!" Welcome to the Black Hole Money Sinking Club, Mr. Henson and for the amount that I have sunk in mine, I have declared myself the President of this club. I can't wait to sit my big behind in the back of your brand new ride and open up a can of "FISH CATCHIN WHIP A$$" on you or at least try. I better watch you man that net for the next couple of trips for I will get lots of practice from the back of your boat. Just Call me "NETBOY - THE SEQUAL" for you are and always will be the ORIGINAL "NETBOY". Congrats Dude.

    Congrats Chunkinwind!!!!

But, elnut's regurigitation of that old saying about the happiest 2 days is clearly incorrect!!! When I sold each of my last boats, man, it hurt. Even when I sold my jon boat, that hurt too.

I think I'd collect boats if I had the money DevilsHorse has!! LOL

Boy, sponsoring him this year has just about broke the bank.

One question DH, if you read this, why are all the sponsor checks I send signed by your wife??

    Tight lines and God Bless

    Danny

    Congrats to NetMan,

Mr Henson Picked out a fine ride, He spent the time to make sure he knew what he wanted on the boat. Netman is a great guy to deal with. Elnut, I think once he gets a new boost of confidence with his new boat purchase your going to be the NETMAN from now on. You and Cliff will have to come up and fish the Plapps Owners tourny now. In fact he can fish this years next weekend on the Ohio River. maybe you will come with him when he picks up his boat, I look forward to meeting you.

    Richie,

You make sure you take care of Cliff after the sale as well please. I gave Plapps a very good name based on the comments I have read on this site and in talking to Matt Plapp on one occasion. Cliff asked my opinion and I tried to give him the best knowledge that I could in steering him in the correct direction. My exact words to Cliff was that I felt Plapps would not only get him the boat of his dreams but more importantly take good care of him afterwords in case of any problems. I certainly hope I am not made into a Liar for this. I am pretty good in reading people and I do believe what I said is true. I will be buying me a new ride in a couple of years and I will make sure Plapps get first crack at my business as well.

Hey Woody, thanks for the post. Now, I won't have my old standard excuse of fishing out of the back of the boat for the reason I'm getting smoked! By the way, you'll be getting a new one a lot sooner than a couple of years... especially when you see that beauty that I bought.
Any one that is looking for a new boat, I highly recommend checking out Plapps and talking to Richie Young. He is a FISHERMAN and a saleman. Which is extremely important when it comes to choosing items on a boat that are important and ones that you can pass on to save money.
Woody, it looks like it will be here just in time for the float n fly season. Get the net.....

RE: Congrats to my Boy Hens......

Don't get mad at me Hens if I knock off the first couple of 6 pounders you land as I am trying to net them. I don't have much netting experience, even though you had plenty of opportunities to give me some experience. You may want to catch several short fish in the beginning to give me some practise and leave the big ones for me to catch initially from the back of the boat. I would say a good 2-3 years of you catching the shorties up front will get me the necessary experience that I need to net that 6 pound Brownfish for you. Don't worry about that excuse about fishing out of the back of the boat is the reason for getting "Smoked" for it is embedded in my memory bank and I assure you will be used as some point or several points in the future if needed. Until then you are still NETBOY to me until I take that dubious title from you. All kidding aside, I am glad you got what you wanted and could not be any happier. Happy Fishing to you Mr. Clifford "Netboy" Henson.
