Not out of business but he is going thru some personal issues. They have cut production way down and that is why the price is high. Nobody can get them so when they do, the price is high. Steve Headrick at Celina One Stop had 150 of them as of a week ago and the price is about $5 but he had to pay over $4.50 each for them. The BP on the right in Jamestown down 127 towards Cumberland had several on the shelf, including some new colors that I had never seen last weekend. I bought 6 - 1/2 ouncers and they were $3.99 each. That plugknocker will earn it's money on these if they do go out of business. I know a guy that is trying to buy the patent and rights to produce them but for right now "no sale". Wait and see

Look out smalley, are you giving away the secret bait for the brute you just caught??? :P
been using this knock off for 3 years works for me @ $2.00 or less each-------ebay 180045600375 $9.00 + $3.00 shipping for 6 Don't know the guy other than having bought from him off ebay the fish i catch don't know the difference and they get hung-up just like the originals:-) :-)
Been using a Heddon Sonar and a nock off, Netcraft Zonar for 20 years and they are more versitile than the Silver Buddy. Will catch anything that swims and a lot of things that don't.
Plug nocker a necessity.
