Just because I can't go fishing either, the fact that I did not hit the lottery last night, the fact that FNF season is not here yet, the fact that I went to Cumberland last week for a terrible 3 day trip, the fact that I LOVE UK BASKETBALL, the fact that I don't care if UK ever wins a football game, the fact that I HATE U OF L and all of their sports programs and especially their BASKETBALL COACH, you know BENEDICT PITINO, I can only say one thing to really get under the skin of several here and am full aware of the beating I will take in advance of publishing this post.........

I'll never, and I mean never understand this mentality. Why would you pull for West Virginia instead of your home state, I just don't get it. Now I NEVER understood fans as yourself? I root on ANY Kentucky team because they are representing our STATE, UofL, UofK, WKU,EKU, Murray,etc. And this was before Pitino ever thought about coming to UofL; UK fans have hated UofL. I tell you, the only reason I would ever like to see UK lose is because UK fans. I mean dang! It's just a sport here fellas...And what gets me is that UK fans are usually fans of other college football teams...I actually don't think UK football is that terrible, I think we'll be surprised here in a few years...so you root on WV, okay personal choice I guess. I mean I wouldn't root against Kentucky, especially in a game like this. But tell me the reason why UofK fans hate UofL so much, yet UofL fans are usually KY fans as well? I know everyone has opinions and so forth, which makes the world go around, but I really was wondering what triggers the hate in UK fans? And don't say Pitino, Lord he did so much for UK and built a dynasty, did his job, and went on with his career. Was offered a great job at UofL and wanted to take on the challenge of rebuilding their program. I guess if I worked at UPS, I quit to go to the US postal service and found myself unhappy, and then was offered a great job at Fed Ex I wouldn't take it because I would hurt UPS's feelings...

I'm a huge UK fan but I will be pulling for the cards tonight. This could be a great chance at a National Championship the Cards. If they win this game they move up in the BCS. And this month Ohio St. and Michigan play and one of them have to loose. You never know it could happen. It would be great fot the state of Kentucky. However I still wish it was UK in this position.

I would like to give another prospective form a die hard UK fan. Pitino can no more be called a Benedict than any one that simply changed jobs and went to work for a competitor. It happens in the business world every day. I will admit that I am sorely disappointed that UK has not made much of an effort to go out and hire a quality football coach that can make them competetive in the SEC. For that reason, I like allot of UK fans are envious of the UofL football program. Bottom line is that they still represent the State and I will,support them tonight against West Virginia.

U of L highly over-rated and shouldn't even be where they are in the polls....Common sense...Miami hasn't had a good team in several years, so why all the hype when they beat them (Miami)...Check the records and box scores...it's in black & White...Big East has two good teams and U of L isn't one of them...I'll give you credit, if you'd stayed in Conference USA....You'd be undefeated for several years...... But your not the caliber of a team like the elite in the Big East.... Just my opinion and I do know a few things about College Football.....

Highly over-rated team indeed!!! good call man. You hit that one right on the nose. "Two good teams in the big east and L-ville isnt one of them".....id like to see who is, since the #3 team in the nation just got beat by them. Rutgers????? please. I held my reply for a long time on this subject, but i really dont understand why people hate UL so much. I understand that Petino came here afer he was there.....grow up and get on with your life. that was basketball, this is football. Tubby Smith is a better coach anyway, Petino is a better recruiter, no doubt, but bball coach; tubby is better in to many ways to mention. Die hard UK fans just wait for any and every chance they get to cheer against UL, which is stupid. I appreciate the people on here with a little bit of an open mind that cheer on the entire state, no matter the sport. You're always going to have your allegiances, i understand that, but cheering on KY over another opponent is the way it ought to be...In the end, UL won tonight (HAHAHAHA for those who doubted us!!!!!!!) and for those of you who, "KNOW A FEW THINGS ABOUT COLLEGE FOOTBALL" you might need to go back to the drawing board for a bit before blatantly calling out a team that you really dont know much about....just my opinion

What are those few things you know about college football? A college is involed, maybe a football, they play on a field, TD's are worth 6 points??
