Need help guys

The UK Bass Team membership is extremely low. We are currently looking for members for the club. If ANY of you guys know anyone who is a student at UK please let them know and have them contact me. We have tried flyers on campus to no avail and the school paper will not run an article and the haerald will not return our emails. We are running out of options here guys help. Id hate to see the club die when college fishing is taking off as it is right now. Thanks

I have college eligability left, I think. Full scholarship, housing, books, fees, etc... and I'm there. I even have my own boat!! There's a plus.

I seen something on here a few weeks ago about getting a shirt made up for College Bass Fishing. Just maybe if you could get some made up and maybe finds a sponser to help pay for them and maybe give some away at the schools, just maybe the word will get out to others. I can talk with a few people and see if I can get some money to help out. Scott, have you had any shirt ideas yet??? I know I said I would work on one but just have not had time with rehab and all. I am starting to get around pretty good again and will see what I can do.

HA, we are looking for a more active advisor, we have a guy in the gerontology dept but he is not very involved. Are you a prof?

We have some great sponsors, Plapps Pro Outdoors has always been great to us. Backwaters helped us with the fox nat'l championship. And we have some deals with a big boat company and some tackle compnayies in the works, its just a crying shame we cant get the numbers to have an active membership.

Kyle, You might recruit out of the senior classes of the state highschools. Try the jr. Bassmaster series and see where they're going to college.
Keep it going at any cost. It's almost there!

I think here at EKU we just got lucky enough to find a lot of guys at school who like to fish. Wave 30 some members and 20 active members that fish. Our fisrt tournament we had 20 or so guys competiting. We really pushed the team on facebook if that is any help. You could also do something like to to get UK to recognize you guys at a game at halftime or something for participating in two national college championships. That may spark some intrest if any guys in the crowd fish. Just some thoughts, it would be a shame to see it all go to nothing.
