Drop Shot rigs

Drop shot rigs are a sure fire way to hook up on some Ky bass, primarily around bridge pilings. I typically use the Zoom Fish Doctor or a Chompers Drop Shot worm. It helps for filling a limit on those slow days and when the largemouth aren't cooperating. Good luck!

Thanks for the responses...Since posting this thread I have read up on the subject a little bit and from what I'm reading it sounds just like what you all said, a good clear water rig, especially if the water is deeper than 12' to 15'.

Culprit drop shot worm, Chompers drop shot worm, Zoom meathead. I only fish downshot style as a last resort. Good winter technique.
