    Stoner Creek

Please keep your speed down at Fryman and Ikes, alot of people from
outside of Bourbon Co seem to be fishing over here (i'm a local) and
you people running up and down the creek, not slowing down , for people that are fishing is very discourteous !

Easy now hoss...local or not local shouldn't have anything to do with it. I'm sure that there are some Bourbon Co. boys just as guilty.

I agree with you that folks need to slow down over there...it's not wide enough for error, especially when coming around one of the bends. I've already seen one wreck over there. I slow down well in advance of someone fishing and idle past as slow and quiet as I can...usually slow enough to chat a bit anyway. There's no sense in doing anything else.

We aint those folks. We always run slow, mostly idle. I was with Splitshot when that wreck occurred.

I've never been on Ike's pool, but have fished Frymans for yrs. I 've fished from my twoman a lot. ANd I got washed by some boneheads more than once...

I, personally, wish it was no wake.

    But we ain't them...

What about the skiers? I was pre fishing in a jon boat at frymans when a here comes a boat flying around the bend pulling someone on a wake board of some kind. I just did get the nose around in time. That was my cue to get off the creek for the day. I trailerd the boat in disgust, and the only other car on the hill was sporting your local "B" word on the plates. I dont think this post will be seen by the bad apples anyway. But speaking for a large group of fisherman from outside the area you can be assured we will keep the speeds down and be courteous to everyone !!!! ;)

A skier? I would have never imagined that. He should have been ticketed for ignorance!
We always had more problems at Ike's pool and it was from the locals who felt they owned the creek. Mainly pontoon boats loaded to the rails with people doing that fast idle that washes you all over the place. I good buddy of mine even had an encounter with one fella who lives on the creek and the polce were called. The officer figured out the guy was drunk and basically dropped the whole thing. Using common sense on the water regardless of where you call home will work for me. :-)
