    small deep creeks for crappie

    i have been lookin for small creeks for good crappie fishin. i mean big enough to put in a small flat bottom john boat in. i love to fish small creeks. also slate creek i heard had huge crappies. what about hickmans creek. :D

    I have never seen or caught any crappie in that creek. As far as a boat goes it would be a hassle, it's too shallow and rocky compared to Stoner. I tried to float it once in a boat and it really wasn't much fun. :-)

    i've heard about good smallmouth there. its in grant county i think hangon i will check it out. i can get a color picture of any creek or lake on this website i found its awesome. its like i'm lookin right at it from a plane. doesn't tell me how deep though.

    it is in grant county but i lookin for sumthan more closer to anderson county. the creek might get hit eventually. there some good pools. i was wanderin maybe if anyone had fished slate creek or maybe some other creek that has good crappie in it.

    You can access Eagle Creek from Sadieville as well. I have put boats in there at their ramp.
