Anybody else fishing the Billy Classic or Horse Creek Invitational as some call it, December 2nd and 3rd?

It might not be prime FNF water temps by this time but in looking at the weather forecast for next week, Cloudy Mon and Tuesday (plus rain), then COLD with rain and sleet on Wed, Thur (High 39 Low 21), and Fri the smallies should love the weather to hit something if the Fly is not producing. How many smallies can you weigh in that tourney?

Lake rules apply, 1 over 21 and 1 under 16 per person. 2-man team can bring in 2 over 21 and 2 under 16 each day of the tourney.

Guess that means you can bring in at least 1 12#er each day. Don't know if anybodys good enough to get 2 a day... :D

A few years back one fellow brought in a 6 INCH Smalljaws to weigh.. Ended up winning the tournament for him I think.. I know he got money and the 6 incher made the difference..

1 - 12 pounder for both days combined will be sufficient. It took 14 and change to win it last year with about 50 boats so I would bet more boats fish it this year and it may takes more to win it. It would not suprise me if the winning team weighs in at least 2 and maybe 3 over the slot for the 2 days. The majority of my fish last year were in or over the slot. I did not catch many under the slot so a couple over and 4 under should have a good shot.
