I'll second that one. I hate having meetings on Friday nights. It's tough for the "weekend anglers" to really make it when Friday isn't really a "weekend" At least for most.

My understanding is the closest division to Louisville would be the KY Lake or TN divisions. Is there a Southern Indiana division? Also, do you think you could convince David, or someone down there, to do a survey that would determine which day people prefer to fish? Friday meetings and Saturday tourneys just don't work as well as Sunday tourneys for most of us. There is already a series in place(BFL)that will continue to outdraw the Weekend Series forever if you guys insist on making those tourneys Saturday events. I'm sure logistics factor into this decision, but no one will ever convince me that this series won't be more successful if they fish on Sundays.

I'm trying to find good reason to fish this trail as opposed to the BFL's. At the moment, I can't find one. Can anyone help me out here?
Hey guys schedule is out . And unless I looked at it wrong they are fishing on Sundays. But April event in south ky is same weekend on Dale as bfl on Laurel
Look at all of the dates again----they are not all on Saturdays and not all on Sundays. Looks like the alternated the dates in each division. Not real sure why------seems kind of strange to me.
Looks like there will ne no Indiana or central KY divisions this year. Numbers from last your were not up enough. Divison #3 will be the best for us central KY residents. They had one a cumberland and Dale hollow. The a district at KY/Barkley.. Well see how the go. I'm fishing district #3.. Hope to see you down there..:-)
I think division 4 is better for ky residents. 2 are in ky. 1 on lake cumberland and one on dale hollow

I looked at the dates and all of the div 4 which is south Ky and Tenn are on Sundays EXCEPT of course the 2 day event . Then one day has to either be SAT and SUN ,or Sunday and Monday ....
They are all on Sundays except the 2 day events........The last event in each division is a super tournament...
Unless my friend was looking at a 2006 Calendar, the KY Lake Division mixed it up--some were on Sat. and some were on Sunday. Unless it's a misprint. I don't have a 2007 calendar to look at---so I guess I have to take your word for it.
Just looked at a 2007 online calendar----the Div. 4 is on Sundays but Div. 21 which includes KY and Barkley---2 on Sat. and 2 on Sunday and of course the one 2 day.
I don't like the schedule--looks like it's back to BFL for me.
Anybody seen regional or payout information?
Sorry for the late response. I'm in Kansas at this time. No high speed conection here!
The dates for the east tenn look like all Sundays. I have never fished the BASS weekend series so I do not know the payout but I do not think it will change. I have heard only of some minor rules that needed to be changed. Check out all of the information on either the ABA website or the BASS site.
As far as a district in central Ky, I think the numbers are not there. I wish I could fish the weekend series, I think the schedule is great!
As far as which one you should fish, I think it is a personal thing. If you have a Ranger, I think the BFL is for you. This is not too say you have to have a Ranger or Ranger owners cannot fish the BASS or ABA for that matter.
Fish which ever one suits you or your schedule. I know I would.
