don't miss it. now is the time to hit up small creeks an i mean smaller than stoner or elkhorn. little creeks that flow through farms. i got some nice 14inchers today. however i may have hooked a spot that could have pushed five pounds. small creeks u need to find a hole with a good riffle comin into it. try 5 foot holes. green/brown crappie jigs. blue/white crappie jigs. smaller baits is better. the bite will last all winter long but after this weekend the game changes alot. however i don't give up. i fish the creeks in the winter when ice is on the surface an there may be a section here an there clear enough to fish. another bait i love to use this time of year is a brown worm cut to a three inch body. a gold crappie hook an a split shot sinker. now thas a killer jus throw in a deep hole. the colder it gets the more fish i will catch in a small creek. there packed into these holes. well good luck an if anyone wants to get some small creek fishin in i got a few around anderson county. good bass in them.
