Leaving in 12 hours heading to Dale for a week to attempt to land the 12 pounder. As my luck usually happens, I plan a trip for months and months and get horrible conditions. I was hoping the water temp would be at least down to 55 for this week and maybe the FNF would land some good fish. As it stands, 57 degrees, lake turning over, FNF bite not working very well (from what I am told) and mid 60's for the first half of the week. Here I am wishing for Alberta Clippers and I get Jet Ski's and party barges. This is my luck for most of my planned long trips. Maybe by the 17th of December for my next week long trip, the temps will be where I want them. If you hear someone screaming his head off from the direction of Dale Hollow, it will be me for I have just broken the 51 year old record. See you all in about a week for my report.
