    Saturday Night Schedule Change....

Instead of the Firehouse on Saturday Night I have arranged dinner for $12.00 at Beni's Restaurant near Celina.. about 8 miles from Horse Creek. They have a room that will fit all of us and can serve food so we do not have to eat before the seminars. The $12.00 includes the tip. Meal will be Chicken or Pork Tenderloin and choice of 4 vegetables and a desert.. Looks like it will be an apple dessert.
This is the OLD CROWS NEST.. where the Pre Tournament Dinner was held for years the first weekend in December for those who fish the Westmoreland Tournament.
I will have directions for you on Friday Night to Beni's and hopefully we can do this here next year as well.

    RE: Saturday Night Schedule Change....

How about the whole deal in an itinerary format, it's in pieces through several threads right now. I've been trying hard to make it over there for at least some of this, but so far work and other committments are winning out.

Here's what I have so far, please add to and correct as necessary. I know Billy's doing some fly tying, but I'm not sure when. Also didn't get any details on the giveaways.

Friday 6pm: FnF rigging seminar by Stephen Headrick, Bob Coan, or Jim Dicken.

Saturday 7am: Breakfast by Jim Dicken. $3 a head

Saturday 8am: On the water FnF casting seminar at the dock by Bob, Stephen, or Jim.

Saturday 9am-3pm: Optional tournament, $10 entry fee.

Saturday 7pm: Rigging seminar with Bob Coan

Saturday: Dinner at Benji's Restaraunt near Celina. $12 per person

Sunday 7am: Botulism and egg breakfast by Jim Dicken $3 a head

    Sunday 8am: Repeat casting seminar

    Sunday 9am-2pm: Optional tournament

Stephen Headrick will be at the Dale Hollow One Stop Sunday evening to answer rigging and fishing questions for anyone arriving on Sunday.

Hey Redneck - I know you're getting ready to head down there pretty soon yourself...if by some chance before you leave and you hear how everyone is doing, I'd like to see you throw it out here somewhere on this site if you have time.

    Good luck man!

I should have a little info this evening. I'm sure Jim will post tonight when he gets off the water. Elnut, Biggw and company are all right there. We'll see what happens.,

    Weather Report

    49 Saturday and 50's Sunday.

Fishing was tough but water temps were 51 or better. This blast should set us up for 49 or less water temps perfect for Float and Fly.
Stephen and Bob are looking forward to seminars and The Dinner on Saturday should be good.

Paco Smell serves e coli laced onions, the true food poisoning connoisseur such as myself prefers JD's old fashioned breakfast.

Attention all you lowlifes out on Dale right now: I realize you're out there fishing while I'm (supposed to be) working...BUT...I'm warm and you ain't. Your nose has either already froze and fell off, or will soon...mine ain't even red. You've lost several fingers and toes to frostbite...I can feel all mine and they don't hurt a bit.

I'd trade places with you in a heartbeat.

The breakfast went off fine this morning after a couple of glitches were fixed. Temps were COLD.. but the fishermen started out on the Float and fly Get Together Tournament at 9AM. High Blue skies, I expect fishing tomorrow to be better.
Seminars were excellent and will be repeated at Beni's Restaurant on Lake Avenue in Celina at 6PM Celina Time.
