    Tackle store question

I understand that Backwaters changed ownership. Just wondering what was going on and if it were true.

    RE: Tackle store question

Backwaters has been sold. It was closed Monday & Tuesday for Inventory. The new owner took over and reopened on Wednesday. I forgot the first name of the new owner, but his last name is Meyers.
His is a local guy. I understand that not much will change.
    Hope this helps

    RE: Tackle store question

I look for it to resemble more of what the store looked like when it was "Dave's". I doubt you will continue to see the cutting edge PRO type stuff that Bill brought into the store. I hope I am wrong about the new stuff.

Did the sale only include the Lexington store? What about the one in Somerset?

    RE: Tackle store question

I went there on tuesday.. And even though they were "closed" the new owner who's name is John let me in to shop anyways... He told me that if he is there, the door is always open to people needing bait,, seemed like really great guys. His son works there also, I was trying to find a cabincreek bait that they usually didnt carry, and told them what I wanted, His son who's name is brad I believe, went to cabincreek that next morning and picked up what I needed. Really seem like they are gonna be helpful, and I dont think that you will have to worry about them not having the top baits.

I don't get there very often but glad to hear they are going to be beneficial to the needs of the local anglers as Backwaters was.
The name; is it going to stay the same?
