    Get a Tri-Mode phone

Seems EVERYONE is pushing the digital ONLY phones.....Step back, look at your service, and MAKE sure you get a TRI-Mode phone.

The Tri-Mode phones (Nokia, Some Motorola, and a couple Kyocera), can talk digital, or analog, and will pretty much work ANYWHERE. I've used my Verizon service and moto v325 on EVERY lake in KY, and rarely have coverage issues. Sure, there are some spotty places, like Accordion bluff at Dale, but for the most part, it simply WORKS.

    Later,

    Geo

    RE: Cell phones and coverage....

    Hey Msgmills....

You hit the nail on the head about the Simm card. That was one of the problems with my old phones....LOL... no removeable simm card. I don't buy new phones unless I absolutely have too, ours were pushing 7 or 8 years old. That's why we had to get new ones. I should have mentioned just how old they were. It might have made more sense on what I was saying.

    LOL

    Tight lines and God Bless

    Danny
