Was down there this past weekend. The water is definately down at winter pool. Let's put it this way, you can't go through the cut through at the Narrows.
I didn't get to do any fishing, but did see there were 8 to 10 fishin' rigs in the parking lot. It was pretty cold, I wonder if they were doing anything besides getting cold? Anyone know?
Back in October, we caught several smallies on the campground riprap between section A and section B of Bailiey's Point. That was a while back, haven't heard much lately tho....

270-646-2122 is the number for the water information line at Barren.
Currently 530.3 winter pool 525 summer pool 552.
At summer pool you had best be in the channel in most places and if you dont know where the channel is come on down at winter pool and the corps of engineers will show you where it is at. The lake has currently been pulled down 22ft and you had better be in the channel or that lake will eat your lower unit. Still lots of fishable water left but just be careful running around. Up until the last few days they were pulling water but for some reason they have back off the gate setting to .10 and the level is stable. Dont know if they are going to pull 5 more feet or not but the lake is close to winter pool.
