From what i read in ky afield the plan is to stock fish from wisconsin for 20 years to see if we can get a spawning population to take where the river sturgeon that were here failed.Where did those fish spawn? just a question? I hope it works.I will then turn it back to my age old question. If you gave the rockcastle river native walleye 20 years of stocking might they do the same? The brood stock from what we have heard are attainable and are from what i understand being stocked in their non native waters. They should do at least as well as the sturgeon with a 20 year stocking in their native waters.Why not??
