Not trying to start anything here but Loomis can only provide suggestions on what they want their retailers to sell their products for..... anything more than that is considered price fixing. Now with that being said, Loomis can decide who they want to sell and I am sure provide incentives or make it difficult on certain retailers but.....for clarification a manufacturer can not tell a retailer how to price their product, legally.
Very True Rangerman. I've even explained that to a couple of dealers when I was trying to buy some new rods.
I have found one retailer who will get around G-Loomis' requirements.... they give gift cards for their store, so in a way you do get a discount, when you consider the free product.
I won't name the retailer in a public forum, so if you want to know, sorry. I won't jeopardize their business.
