I have a couple of questions for the group... First, is this warm weather we're having going to move the fish deeper and off of the fly bite? Second, we're fishing the East side of Dale going out of Star Point. I hear most people on this board talking about the Holly Creek area. What are the opinions out there about the Star Point, Cove Creek, Jolly Creek area?
Thanks for your opionions and feedback. I hope we can catch a few good fish this weekend. They are calling for highs around 60 both days. I certainly didn't anticipate this forecast for mid December but I guess I'll take it.

Scott I'm a real novice at the float and fly and I know a lot of folks (probably everybody) can answer better than I. However I have never let a lack of knowledge stand in my way.
#1 Bob Coan said he was about two weeks away from switching to fnf exclusively because the water temp was not cold enough. ( I'm sure it has not dropped any since that weekend). He was fishing fnf early in the morning and late evening and fishing jig or sonar etc. the rest of the day. Everyone was fishing where they were because the lake was turning over and was almost black at the dam area. Most were running to clear water.
Hey man - let me know how you do. Dave and I may go sometime next week.
Went the last two days and had one on the fly and the rest were deep. Biggest was 4lb 8oz. Water was 49 to 51 around First Island area and Hendricks Creek. It sure was nice out though, even with the fog not burning off until after 9:oo this morning.
