Waded main creek Sunday 3 to 5 PM.
Creek was up a bit, lots of flow, clear with some new moss growth on the rocks making for some pretty treacherous wading.
Partner caught a sweet 2.5 lb. smallie on a rootbeer crankbait. I had a super-chunky 2 lb. largemouth on an olive tube. Couple more dinks and one really nice "something" that took me for about a 30-yard run before my Yo-zuri suspending minnow popped free.
Deep cuts and the upper end of deep eddies near current were where they came from. Didn't seem to matter what type of bottom.
