I was given one of these the other day. It's kinda neat. We now sell them at our retail store and they have sold well for fishermen gifts this month.

We sell those antenna fishing rods also and people love them. We also sell these cool little desktop fishing rods that are under $15 and great for an office.

RE: Inexpensive Xmas Gifts for Fishermen

I want to see the look on the sales woman's face when a guy walks up to the cosmetic counter and asks here about the different colors of nail polish! I'll be they give you some strange looks and wonder what you are buying nail polish for? I watched a program on gardening one Saturday. They had this older guy from England on public TV station. Jerry Baker is his name. He uses red nail polish on his spray can's and other tools that comes in contact with any form of Pesticides. That way you know that they are contaminated and you won't use them for any thing else. Just paint a big Red X on the can with red nail polish.

I also used clear nail polish to coat cover slides onto microscopic slides when doing asbestos fiber counting. Samples are collected on Cellulose filters and the the filters are places on a microscopic slide and exposed to warm acetone vapors. This make the white cellulose filter appear clear and it collapse the filter down into a thinner layer. After that a drop of refractive index oil is places on the filter and then a cover slip is put on top of the filter and slide. Clear Nail Polish is then applied around the edges of the circular cover slip to keep it in place. The slide is then saved for quality assurance purposed. It can be checked by another microscopic analysts to make sure that the two fiber counts are within acceptable limits. This is called a Precision check and many of these precision checks are conducted to determine how precise the measurement system is for each analysts and then between different analysts in the lab.

If you are married you can swipe some of your wife's nail polish or maybe from your mother in law? LOL That way you don't have to go to the cosmetics dept at the store.

    Regards,

the gizz 4 crankbait is $10 and that includes shipping. I've never seen a bait catch fish like it does....stripers, largemouths, and those trash brown fish. I fish for stripers and use the gizz in the mornings and evenings. It outfishes live shad lol due to the fact that you can cover more water. We were trolling them yesterday, while close by 2 guide boats had 2 fish between them and we had a limit by 11:00am with one fish over 25.

What colors do you like? I looked at their website and did not know which colors to try first.
