DH, JIm, I have fished some KBFs with you, and I thought we were just fooling around here, and Dave, I guess is completely off limits.

I thought this was a great place, always enjoyed reading it, to bad my posting has been so unaccepted. I made sure I did not break any rules, and I was even responding to a post that broke the rules that talk of politics.

Oh well.....

This is a great place man, and I guarantee no hard feelings on my part. I've had a ton of posts deleted from here, it goes with the territory. No need to take it personal, if you ain't had a post or 20 deleted, you ain't tryin hard enough.

yea i have had a couple posts deleted myself. I dont post on here to much anymore. what got me was a post that stayed up runnin about a friend of mine and when i defended him, BOOM it was gone. but thats ok. i used to help some ppl out on here with a few reports but not anymore. I think there is to many ppl with the power of delete and they like using it. another board i get on lets the ppl of the board decide on deletion. so i kinda know how ya feel James so just be like me and stick around and post a few ever now and then.

I'll let you know before it happens...this entire thread ain't long for the world either. It'll be whacked soon as one of the moderators comes out of their Christmas food coma or gets tired of playing with their new Craftsman tools set and signs on.

Is there a double standard and the rules selectively enforced on this board? Yes.

Is that fair? Yes. Once and for all: It's their board to run as they please. Dicken can post things that you or I can't because he's a moderator and one of the pricipals of this here enterprise.

I'd say I've started or participated in dozens of threads that got tossed in the cyber bit bucket. Had my feelings hurt and left, but I always come back.

Before anyone gets to feeling negative about it, this site has some things going for it that not many others do. There are no freakin pop up ads. Can I get a AMEN!?!? The posters on here are good local folks and this place is a great resource for fishing info, boat repairs, weather/water conditions...the list goes on and on.

The folks who run this site are each and every one good people. I personally know all of them excpet apb, and they are top shelf. (Well Dicken may only make it to the middle shelf, but that ain't bad.)

Dave Stewart is an ex Marine and one of the most militant moderators. He'll whack your post with no explanation, and if he could he'd make your azz do 20 push ups on top of it. He's also an excellent angler who happens to be one the most helpful bass chasers in Kentucky. He's smart enough not to take what happens on here personally, and will take the time to honestly help you catch more fish instead of talking in generalities. The dude gets paid to go fishing, but does a heck of a lot of stuff he doesn't get paid for.

Ole Danny is alright when he's asleep. He's meticulously fair and always has a well considered, thought provoking opinion on things. IMO, he does a dang good job on here.

Would I be a moderator(even if they were crazy enough to ask me)? Not a chance, don't need the aggravation of dealing with pains in the hiney like me.

This is Dicken and DAVE has deleted many of my posts.
If you catch me not posting by the rules then tell me I can take it..
YES the site does have the right to make posts that OTHERS can not. That is mostly to benefit those who PAY for the board and the site upkeep and my modest salary.
We do not allow people to post ads on the site EVEN the advertisers.
WE do make occasional posts FOR their benefit.. why shouldn't we?
Believe it or not this SPACE costs money. My time is worth something as well.
NO we do not take abuse..

BELIEVE ME when I say there is NO way to make everyone happy.

NO not normally but since it has gone this long I will entertain it ONE TIME. I want to point out that KentuckyJames is a NEW poster who is disgruntled.. and I am pretty sure I know who he is.
WE try to keep this board on point.. Talking FRIENDLY about fishing.
We do not allow flaming or posts about disgruntled customers because of the impact a board like this can have on REAL PEOPLE and business. It is YOUR word agains theirs.. and there ARE 2 sides to every story.
Sometimes the BUSINESS is right.. not you.
I have many stories I could tell about idiots making posts here that they were by LAW not allowed to make due to LEGAL SETTLEMENTS with businesses..
It is too easy to sit behing a keyboard and to bitch and moan.
That is not what this board is for..
If you can not say something NICE.. don't say it..
OH and my favorite.. would you let someone into YOUR house to call you names and to insult you? I DOUBT IT..
