Fished Cumberland yesterday, Thursday, Dec 28th.
Mild day with 53 degree air temp and mostly sunny skies.
Water temp was 50 degrees.
Started on main lake points in the Rowena area throwing jigs, cranks, jerks, and some shiners with no luck.
Fished channel bank up in Indian with shiners with no luck.
Tried a little bit of float n fly with no luck. Water temp probably too warm.
Decided to hunt bait fish in Indian Creek. Found them suspended in the middle of the creek near points in 20 to 30 ft of water. Threw shiners at them on the points and caught a one nice smallie almost 3 pounds.
Tough day but beautiful day on the lake!
Go CATS!! (Go CARDS on Jan 2nd)
