I purchased an All-Star float and fly rod at a store around Dale a couple of years ago. I never used it all that much but went to use it yesterday and it broke just above where the two pieces connect. Do you think they will replace it and if so, any idea on where to contact? Thanks

All Star has a life time warranty on all their rods.
Thanks
Don't count on the Lifetime Warranty of AllStar rods.
I know FIRST HAND that they don't stand behind their product.
I have a Zell Rowland spinnerbait rod that busted at the handle. I called AllStar and their lifetime warranty means you pay 1/2 price. NOT exactly a GOOD deal.
This is the BIGGEST reason I switched from AllStar to Loomis. That, and because Loomis kicks pretty much everybody else's rods butt.

Most if not all companies had to go to that kind of warranty. It is a manufacturers warranty.. and is for mistakes in manufacture... NOT for some moron that closes his rod in the car door, OR worse, sticks it in the Trolling motor.
Have you ever seen Bill Dance closing rods in a tailgate or sticking a rod in a Cieling fan?
Even Loomis only guarantees its ABSOLUTE top line rods and you pay for the shipping which is almost 50%.
Others they charge you a "Handling Fee" so since All Star Charges a lot less for its rods I think 50% is just darn generous considering some of these breaks are not due to manufacturing defects.

gobbler ---- did you break an All Star FnF rod or and All Pro FnF rod ?????? I didn't know All Star made a FnF rod --- I guess if a rod is long enough and limber you can use it for a FnF rod ---heck, you can use a 2x4 for a rod if you want ...godd luck getting it replaced and let us know how you come out....tight lines

Jim..........$50.00 for the Loomis Expiditer service is NO where NEAR 50% of ANY Loomis Rod. Not GL2 or GL3, which are the low end of the Loomis line.
On the other hand, the All Star Rod was $140.00 and they wanted $70.00 plus shipping to replace a rod that was DEFIITELY a manufacturer issue. It broke at the handle. THAT is a manufacturing defect.
With my Loomis rods, send 50 bucks and they send you a new one. AND they don't give a rip if it was broken in a trolling motor, ceiling fan, outboard, door, ran over by the car, eaten by the dog, etc........THEY REPLACE IT. And believe me, I have used it 4 times myself. They have stood by the warranty each and EVERY time.
I used to REALLY like Allstar, and thought the warranty was pretty good. That is until I needed to use it. Now, I'm replacing most of my goto rods with Loomis.

Dover, you're right it is an ALLPRO rod. I always thought it was an All-Star. Didn't mean to set off the Loomis vs All-Star debate. Still I purchased the rod at Dale Hollow, heck I haven't even removed the plastic wrap from the handle of the rod. I paid $99 for the rod. I was going to Dale today but might wait til tomorrow because of the 10-20 mile winds. Don't mind the rain, hate the wind.
Dale Hollow One Stop does not sell All Star float n fly rods.
I think you must be thinking of All Pro Rods. All Pro does carry an
ubcondional lifetime warranty. Simply take it back to whwer you bought it and they are authorized to hand you a replacement on the spot--NO CHARGE.
