It is a largemouth . The jaw line past the eye is with the mouth closed. Heck the way a spot from Dale hollow is made one 27 inches long would be as big around as a 5 gallon bucket. Man you haven't lived until you go to Dale in April and catch some of those 4 - 5 lb spotted bass on top water !!!!!!!!!!
