Kentucky lake Cabins

Im looking for somewhere to stay for a week this june on KY Lake..

Can anyone reccomend somewhere....

My first recommendation without any further information than you have furnished is The Moor's Resort which you will find advertises on this site. The have cabins, a restaurant and full service marina pretty much all in walking distance of one another. There are a number of other options also between the state resort parks that are nice with cabins. There are also a number of smaller resorts on the lake with nice cabins. You can pretty much find links to all these places' websites at either www.kentuckylake.com or www.explorekentuckylake.com.

We stayed at Wrangler's Campground the last time we went to KY. The cabins sleep either 6 or 8 depending on which ones you rent. They are pretty nice. However, there is no AC or heat. If you're going in the summer, that may be a show stopper. We usually plan a trip in April, so AC really isn't an issue. They do have showers and water/electric hookups. The rates are reasonable. They have a restaurant too. The campground is close to both lakes, so you have the option of fishing Barkley or Ky. The campground is mainly used by folks with horses..... hince the name Wranglers... Watch out for the horse poo... LOL.

I think they call it the Lake Barkley Motel or Inn....can't remember. I don't think they have cabins though...just rooms.

Looking for something in the northern end of the lake that has boat rental and isnt quite the huge tourist type place...........smaller mom and pop type place

Check out Cozy Cove Resort and Hickory Hills Resort..they are smaller family type resorts.
